Martin rushes for 104 yards and a TD to lead Middle Tennessee over Nevada 27-20

Antonio Martin Jr. led Middle Tennessee to a 27-20 victory over Nevada on Saturday. Martin rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown, while Roman Gagliano threw for 173 yards and two scores. The Blue Raiders (2-1) didn't take a lead until the second half, scoring twice in less than four minutes in the fourth quarter and holding on for the win.

The Wolfpack (1-2) fell behind due to turnovers, including two fumbles and an interception in the second half. Koraun Perdue scored a 23-yard touchdown reception, and Cam’Ron Lacy had six receptions for 32 yards and a touchdown. Middle Tennessee's defense was led by Ashton Taylor and Korey Smith, who each had 10 tackles, while Jason Hardy had an interception and Jackson Lowe had a sack. Middle Tennessee's next game is against Jacksonville State next Saturday.
