Israeli settlers set Palestinian vehicle alight, try to seize child in West Bank

A group of Israeli settlers torched a Palestinian vehicle north of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian news agency Wafa. The settlers then attacked residents and attempted to seize a child. A Palestinian man claimed that the settlers approached his car, set it ablaze, and subsequently moved to assault him.

Two homes were broken into during the incident, with women and children subjected to assault. The settlers' attempt to take the child was thwarted by local residents. In a separate incident, Israeli troops carried out a sweep through several villages and towns in the western Jenin area. This operation involved detaining residents and compelling shopkeepers to close their establishments.

Additionally, soldiers searched homes in Raba village, taking several people into custody before moving on to a neighboring village where they ordered businesses to shut down.
