EPL: Chelsea must use international break to improve, says Colwill

Chelsea defender Levi Colwill has called on his team to make the most of the international break following their poor 3-0 loss to Brentford in the Premier League. The match began well for Chelsea, but their performance deteriorated after halftime as Brentford scored three consecutive goals. The defeat has left Chelsea with just seven points from their first five league games, signaling the need for improvement as manager Xabi Alonso continues to develop the squad.

In a statement on Chelsea's website, Colwill acknowledged both positive and negative aspects of the team's early season. "There have been some good bits, some other not so good bits," he said. The 23-year-old defender, who was not selected for England's recent UEFA Nations League fixtures due to a knee injury, will remain with Chelsea during the international break.

Colwill sees this time as an opportunity for the team to regroup, work on their weaknesses, and return stronger. "We've got a while now to try and improve," he added. "Hopefully, we will come out the other side flying, pick up our play, and become a better team."
