Jordan Love says his throwing hand went numb vs. the New York Jets

During a game against the New York Jets, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love reported that his throwing hand went numb. At the time, CBS highlighted Love favoring his throwing hand, shaking it out, and having it treated on the sideline. Love explained that the issue began with a hit to his elbow during one of the Packers' five fumbles of the game.

Despite the injury, Love managed to complete 16 of his 29 passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns, resulting in a passer rating of 91.9. While not his best performance, it was not a disaster either. The game was played in wet conditions at MetLife Stadium, which also led to dropped passes from both teams. Love's durability in the final minutes of the game suggests he will likely return for the next matchup against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football.

The Packers will release injury reports on Monday, with backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor set to start. Taylor has a 29-31-1 record as a starter and has played in 100 total games. The third-string quarterback would be Kedon Slovis, a practice squad player who was signed from the Arizona Cardinals after the cutdown deadline.
