Danjuma family takes wedding glamour to Marbella

The wedding festivities of Saraya Danjuma, daughter of ex-Chef of Army Staff Theophilus Danjuma, and her groom, Bawa Salka, expanded beyond Nigeria's borders as they took place in the sun-kissed coastal city of Marbella, Spain. Following their lavish traditional ceremony in Lagos, the celebration moved to a beach club, La Cabane, in the Spanish resort city, setting the scene for a lavish yet laid-back celebration.

The initial gathering in Lagos had already drawn a star-studded guest list, including high-ranking officials such as Vice President Kashim Shettima, governors of Lagos, Ogun, and Oyo states, as well as prominent businessman Femi Otedola. The Marbella event, however, brought an international flair, with guests arriving in Spain to join the couple's celebrations ahead of the main event.

Photographs and social media posts from the celebration revealed a glamorous yet relaxed atmosphere, as guests arrived in chic attire and shared moments with the newlyweds. The couple themselves were at the heart of the festivities, greeting their guests and ensuring everyone felt at home as the event commenced.

Family members, including Saraya's mother Daisy, who looked stunning in a floral dress, welcomed guests and invited them to join the festivities. Other notable attendees included Aisha Buhari, the wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Eku Abudu-Akinsanya, founder of Greenwood House School, and former First Lady Aisha Buhari, who visited the South-West youths advocating for greater roles in governance.

The President's son, Seyi Tinubu, also made an appearance at the party, while high-profile figures such as Victor Briggs and Amelda, Beatrice Abebe, and her daughter Justice Elizabeth Alakija, and Ebitimi and Pelebo Banigo were among the other guests.
