21-Year-Old Man Shot Dead by Friend On Moving Bike In Bhopal

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 21-year-old man, identified as Ikhlas or Tashi, was shot dead by a friend while they were riding a motorcycle in the Housing Board Colony area, according to police reports. The incident occurred in the Nishatpura police station limits on Sunday morning. Tashi was travelling with two friends when the shooting took place.

The victim, a painter, was seated in the middle of the motorcycle, while Alim or Allu was seated behind him. One of the friends allegedly pulled out a pistol and fired at Tashi at close range. The bullet hit Tashi, causing the motorcycle to lose control and crash onto the road. After the shooting, Alim allegedly threatened the rider with the pistol and forced him to continue towards Sindhi Colony.

The frightened rider later returned to the spot and informed the police about the incident. Police found that Tashi and Alim had had a dispute over a woman around 15 days prior, during which Tashi suffered a hand fracture. The earlier dispute was reportedly settled, but police are investigating whether it was connected to the Bhopal shooting. A murder case has been registered, and police are searching for the accused.
