A viral video has captured a heated exchange between Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and a resident of Guna, Madhya Pradesh, over a long-standing demand for a road. The confrontation occurred as Scindia was traveling to a village in his parliamentary constituency when a group of residents stopped his convoy to express their concerns about the road's condition and delay in construction.

The residents chanted the slogan "Road nahi toh vote nahi" (No road, no vote) as they sought Scindia's intervention to ensure the road was built before the next election. One resident warned the minister that if the road was not constructed in time, the residents would refrain from voting for him in the upcoming election.

In response, Scindia objected to the language used by the protester, telling him, "Do not ever use this language with me. Understood?" He then urged the resident to make a formal request instead of addressing him in that manner, emphasizing his responsibility to get the work done.

The minister's sharp reaction to the resident's tone has become the focal point of the widely shared video. Shortly after the incident, Scindia announced that ₹3 crore would be sanctioned for the road construction project, with the funds coming from the MLA's account. The district collector was directed to ensure that the construction work begins after the monsoon season.
