SKMM kenal pasti individu, akaun media sosial berkait video tular hina Rukun Negara

The Communication and Multimedia Authority (SKMM) has identified several individuals and social media accounts in connection with a viral video that allegedly offended the monarchy, Malaysia, and the Rukun Negara. The video's initial scan revealed that it originated from a posting dating back to 2018 that was later reposted on social media.

SKMM has been collaborating with the Criminal Investigation Department of the police to expand the investigation, including the examination of digital evidence. The authority advises the public against speculating or spreading unverified information related to the individuals connected to the video to prevent interfering with the investigation.

Previously, a similar viral video showed actors pointing back to China, India, and Indonesia, repeatedly chanting "This Malaysia," with each line followed by mocking responses from different characters. One actor wore only a red undershirt, with his body painted in red and white letters. Minister of Unity, Aaron Ago Dagang, reportedly requested the police and SKMM to conduct a thorough and comprehensive investigation into the video, which is considered disrespectful, excessive, and unacceptable towards the monarchy, Malaysia, and the Rukun Negara.
