EPL: Man United Muslim supporters demand new owners after Ratcliffe comments

The Manchester United Muslim Supporters Club (MUMSC) has demanded a change in the club's ownership structure following Sir Jim Ratcliffe's controversial comments about immigration, taxes, and welfare. Ratcliffe, the founder of petrochemical company Ineos, made these remarks during a BBC interview, stating that Britain is "on the slide" due to high taxes and high immigration.

MUMSC, which previously condemned Ratcliffe's remarks in February, expressed deep disappointment and found them "deeply disappointing and completely unacceptable." The supporters group noted that Ratcliffe's latest comments were a significant departure from what they had hoped for after the Glazer family's ownership took over, as they had anticipated Ratcliffe's arrival would signal meaningful change.

MUMSC emphasized that Manchester United's identity is built on its diverse community, and that the club cannot be the same without this diversity. The group called for the Glazers and Ratcliffe to step down, stating that enough is enough and it is time for change.
