Cocaine bust: Suspects arrested were under surveillance between a year to two - NACOC

The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has arrested suspects involved in a recent cocaine bust in France, revealing they had been under surveillance for between a year and two years prior to the arrests. Acting Director of Public Affairs and International Relations at NACOC, PNCO Francis Opoku Amoah, disclosed that the suspects were identified through their activities and their connections to a Dutch drug lord, Jos Leijdekkers, who remains at large and wanted by authorities across Europe.

In addition to the arrests in France, NACOC also announced the arrest of three suspects in Ghana who were allegedly involved in facilitating Leijdekkers' network. Dutch authorities believe Leijdekkers, known as Bolle Jos, is hiding in Sierra Leone, while investigations are still ongoing in Ghana and the Netherlands.
