Aliko Dangote appointed Grand Patron of Global Entrepreneurship Festival 2026

The Global Entrepreneurship Festival (GEF) has announced the appointment of Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Africa's leading industrialist and President of the Dangote Group, as the Grand Patron for GEF 2026. This significant recognition was bestowed upon Dangote during a visit by the GEF Board, which also bestowed upon him a special honor for his contributions to entrepreneurship, business development, and economic transformation across the African continent.

The appointment was made possible through the efforts of Dr. Elizabeth Jack-Rich, Vice Chairman of the Global Entrepreneurship Festival, who played a crucial role in strengthening the connection between GEF and Dangote. Dr. Jack-Rich's involvement underscores the Festival's dedication to bridging the gap between seasoned African business leaders and emerging entrepreneurs, thereby enhancing Africa's presence within the global entrepreneurship landscape.
