I quit being a trial lawyer to become a comedian. I loved my job but knew I was ready for something different.

Paul Farahvar, a former trial lawyer, transitioned to a career as a full-time stand-up comedian. His journey into comedy began accidentally, when a friend asked him to perform alongside him at an open mic. Encouraged by comedian Bob Saget, Farahvar won a contest and soon became a regular at The Laugh Factory in Chicago. Despite loving his legal career, Farahvar felt ready for a new challenge.

This transition from law to comedy has been a full-time endeavor for over six years, and he has managed to maintain his existing clients while no longer taking on new ones. Farahvar's success in comedy has resulted in him making more money than he did in his legal career.
