Sadovy reports detection of device resembling listening device in official car

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy has disclosed the discovery of a device resembling a listening device in his official car, reporting the finding to law enforcement agencies. In a recent post on his Telegram channel, Sadovy wrote, "We found a device resembling a listening device again, this time in the official car." According to Sadovy, the device was detected after the car's battery discharged twice over the past month and the strut began knocking. He explained that the device was unearthed after the strut was disassembled.

In a video posted on his social media, Sadovy expressed his uncertainty about the origin of the device, stating, "I don't even have an idea who could have put it here." However, Sadovy indicated that if the device was installed through official channels, such as a court order or by the relevant agencies, he would welcome them to retrieve it. Sadovy pledged to inform the heads of the pertinent services about the recent discovery.

Notably, Sadovy mentioned that exactly a year ago, a listening device was found in his office, and he had contacted law enforcement agencies at the time. Unfortunately, he noted that no specific response was provided regarding the nature and method of the device's placement. The mayor firmly stated that he has no objections to the installation of such devices, provided they are carried out legally, emphasizing his role in the matter and openness to allowing their placement if all procedures are adhered to.
