Ranveer Singh visits Lalbaugcha Raja, pledges to support education of 1,000 girls

Ranveer Singh recently paid a visit to Lalbaugcha Raja, Mumbai's iconic Ganesha temple, to seek blessings and make a pledge to support the education of 1,000 girls. The actor, who recently delivered his biggest hit, Dhurandhar 2, and announced his second pregnancy, expressed gratitude for the blessings he and his family received during the past year.

He told News18, "It feels really good to be here. By Bappa's grace, the past year has been filled with happiness for me and my family. So, we have come here to seek his blessings, thank him, and seek his blessings for the journey ahead and for the journey of life."

Ranveer, dressed in white and sporting the look for his upcoming film Pralay, interacted with fans, taking selfies and posing for pictures. The actor's visit coincided with the auspicious occasions of Ganesh Chaturthi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday. In addition to his charitable pledge, Ranveer announced his support to the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, an initiative aimed at providing education to 1,000 girls.

He stated, "On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and on the occasion of the birth anniversary of our respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, I pledge to join the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan and support the education of 1,000 girls. I hope that Bappa will be pleased with this initiative and that his blessings will always remain upon us."
