Miley Is All About That ‘Bass’ (And Dancing) on ‘Bass Persuades’ Album: Stream It Now
The pop star pours her full heart into her dance-infused 10th studio album.
Miley Cyrus has released her 10th studio album, Bass Persuades, on September 18. The 10-track set follows the release of the album's title track earlier this month, which debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 35. The song encourages listeners to surrender to the music and "dance to it, let it out and carry on." Miley Cyrus stripped her name of "Cyrus" from her Instagram handle, emphasizing a new era.
She explained that the album's title means "Music takes hold of us. We feel it, sing it, sometimes dance to it, let it out and carry on. It is powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong." The project's release follows Miley Cyrus' 2025 album Something Beautiful, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. Miley Cyrus will headline two shows at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl on October 16 and 18 to celebrate the new album.
