CBSE Date Sheet 2027 Live: Check Class 10, 12 Timetable Release Update, Exam Details

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet released the date for the submission of examination forms by private candidates for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in 2027. The previous year, the form was released in September, with the September 10, 2026 notification indicating the prior intimation for the submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) for the 2026-27 session.

However, the notification for the 2027 exam application is yet to be announced. For the 2026 examinations, the private-candidate application process for Class 10 and Class 12 began in September 2025, following the issuance of notifications on September 8, 2025. Eligible candidates for the 2025-26 cycle included those declared 'Essential Repeat', placed in the compartment category, those declared fail/essential repeat in previous years, and individuals seeking improvement in one or more subjects.

Applications and fees were exclusively accepted online, with penalties for late submissions. The 2027 notification is expected to include information on eligibility criteria, application dates, examination fees, the late-fee window, available subjects, and instructions for selecting the examination city. Candidates should carefully verify their eligibility before applying.

In the prior cycle, CBSE required candidates to enter their roll number and year of passing, with incorrect information resulting in application rejection. The examination center is allocated based on the city chosen by the candidate during the online application, and careful consideration should be given to this selection as it cannot be altered after allotment.
