Exco N Sembilan menderhaka, Aminuddin seru polis bertindak

Former Negeri Sembilan Chief Minister Aminuddin Harun has called for police action against members of his state's executive council (exco) who claimed to have declared Tuanku Muhriz's removal as the governor of the state. He labeled their actions as "treacherous" and stated that their proclamations, which were published on September 19, were made while he was still the Chief Minister.

Aminuddin refused to sign the document due to his publicly stated belief that the state could not accept Mubarak Dohak's actions, which were not in line with the Sungei Ujong Agreement. He urged authorities to take appropriate legal action against every exco member involved in the incident. Additionally, Aminuddin claims that the same action applies to the proclamation, which cannot be presented to another Chief Minister four months later.

He emphasized that there were no allegations made against Tuanku Muhriz, and that his dismissal from the position of Prime Minister was a violation of fundamental principles of justice and a serious breach of fairness. On September 9, the state government had openly stated that the proclamation did not meet the established process and procedures, while also declaring it inadmissible, contrary to the Constitution, and unenforceable.

However, seven days later, the same exco members decided that the proclamation was complete and valid. This change in stance is difficult to understand, according to Aminuddin. According to the State Constitution, exco members do not have the authority to make decisions regarding Tuanku Muhriz's position. On the same day, the exco declared the proclamation of Tuanku Muhriz's abdication as valid and recognized Tuanku Nadzaruddin as the new Yang Di-Pertuan Besar.

According to the exco's statement, this decision was made during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Ismail Lasim the previous day. However, the Legal and Constitutional Review Committee (DKU) previously stated that Tuanku Muhriz remained the Yang Di-Pertuan Besar, claiming that there was no valid process for him to relinquish his position.
