British man allegedly swaps authentic Buriram United kit with fakes

British man faces investigation for allegedly swapping authentic Buriram United merchandise for counterfeit items, according to Mueang Buriram Police Station. The alleged offence began when a British customer ordered four Buriram United sportswear items from Mega Castle Co Ltd, an online seller. The customer subsequently requested a return, citing the kit as being the wrong size and requesting alternative dimensions.

Though the company accepted the return, staff became suspicious upon receiving the goods, suspecting they may not match the original order. As a result, police received a complaint and a warrant was issued for a search of a resort room in Mueang Buriram district, where officers discovered four Buriram United sportswear items. The items were taken as evidence for further examination by police.

Authorities emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and no definitive conclusions have been reached regarding the items' involvement in any crime. Police advised merchants to maintain records of orders, payments, deliveries and photos or identifying features of products, as such documentation may aid in resolving disputes and establishing the truth when dealing with returned goods.
