Bengaluru Horror: Nurse Chased, Hacked With Machete Before Husband Throws Acid At Her - VIDEO

On Thursday morning, Bengaluru’s JP Nagar 3rd Phase witnessed a harrowing assault as a 26-year-old nurse, Madhumitha, was brutally chased and attacked with a machete and acid by her husband, Venkatesan. The incident occurred near a private clinic, sending a wave of panic through onlookers and passersby who quickly sought safety.

Madhumitha, who had been working at the clinic for about one-and-a-half years, had stepped out for breakfast at around 9:15 am when the alleged attack took place. Venkatesan, hailing from Tamil Nadu, pursued her to the basement parking area of the multi-story building housing the clinic, armed with a knife, machete, and acid. He allegedly launched a vicious assault on his wife with the machete before throwing acid and attempting to flee the scene.

Residents immediately intervened, raising alarms and rushing to Madhumitha’s aid. Some individuals even resorted to throwing stones at the accused in an attempt to stop him, though he continued to pose a threat. Police arrived at the scene shortly after, apprehending Venkatesan while he was attempting to escape. Madhumitha sustained severe injuries and was promptly taken to a private hospital for treatment.

The police are now investigating the incident, questioning Venkatesan to uncover the motive behind the alleged attack.
