2027: Obi-Kwankwaso Movement Unveils 59-Member Campaign Council

The Obi-Kwankwaso Movement has established a nationwide campaign framework for the 2027 general elections, announcing the formation of a 59-member Presidential Campaign Council. This council spans the six geopolitical zones, FCT, and all 36 states, with members appointed to oversee specific areas such as mobilisation, women affairs, strategy and planning, security, legal affairs, administration, and information technology.

John Ughulu, the movement's Director-General, has been designated as the Director-General of the campaign council, while Saadatu Sani serves as its National Secretary. The six zonal coordinators were selected from North-Central to South-East regions. The appointment of the 59-member council aims to extend the movement's organisational reach to grassroots levels, with coordinators also designated for all 36 states and the FCT.

The council's unveiling follows the movement's commitment to operate independently ahead of the 2027 elections, with its members charged to communicate the vision and policies of Obi and Kwankwaso across the country.
