Police inaugurate divisional facility donated by N’Delta firm

A firm based in the Niger-Delta region, Maton Engineering Nigeria Limited, has presented a newly built and furnished facility to the Nigeria Police Force's Enerhen Division. During the inauguration, attended by traditional leaders, community leaders, senior police officers, and security personnel, Maton Engineering's CEO, Mr. Matthew Tonlagha, explained the company's focus on security as a key aspect of sustainable development.

Tonlagha emphasized that the decision to construct and furnish the facility stemmed from the company's dedication to backing security agencies and fostering the growth of Delta State and Nigeria. He pledged that Maton Engineering would persist in backing endeavors with a beneficial influence on the populace and societal advancement.

Delta State's Commissioner of Police, Samuel Erale, represented by ACP Graham Imade, thanked the various individuals, organizations, and stakeholders involved in the project's successful completion, lauding Maton Engineering for their financial support and construction efforts. He also recognized Schlumberger, which donated the land upon which the facility was built, for their contribution to the police and the Enerhen community.

The Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, Dr. Emmanuel Sideso, appealed for similar projects to be replicated in other communities across Delta State.
