Police inaugurate divisional facility donated by N’Delta firm

Maton Engineering Nigeria Limited, a firm from the Niger-Delta region, has donated a newly constructed and furnished facility to the Nigeria Police Force's Enerhen Division. During the inauguration ceremony, company CEO Matthew Tonlagha emphasized security as a critical element of sustainable development and stated that Maton Engineering's decision to build and furnish the facility stemmed from their commitment to backing security agencies and promoting Delta State and Nigeria's growth.

Tonlagha further pledged that Maton Engineering would continue supporting initiatives with a positive impact on society.

The Delta State Police Commissioner, Samuel Erale, represented by Warri Area Commander ACP Graham Imade, expressed gratitude to the individuals, organizations, and stakeholders who aided in completing the project. Erale described the facility as a "lasting legacy" and hailed Tonlagha for funding and constructing it, expressing that this gesture significantly contributes to the Nigeria Police Force.

He also acknowledged Schlumberger, the company that donated the land, for its contribution to police and Enerhen community development.

The Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, Dr. Emmanuel Sideso, represented by Uvwie Traditional Council Secretary Chief Samuel Eshenake, called for similar projects to be replicated in other communities across Delta State.
