NDC Constituency Election: Branch executives pick nomination forms for Bia East Chairman and Secretary

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has initiated its constituency executive elections, allowing party members to prepare for various positions. In Bia East, located in the Western North Region, some branch executives have endorsed the incumbent Constituency Chairman, Mausili Siaka, and the incumbent Constituency Secretary, Joseph Apraku, to retain their roles.

The branch executives who backed both leaders cited the incumbent's performance and fulfillment of promises made to the party. They confirmed that Chairman Mausili Siaka had pledged to boost the NDC's vote count in the 2024 general elections, a goal which they claimed was achieved. Moreover, they stated that Siaka had pledged to establish party offices in every zone within the constituency, an objective they reported to be 90% complete.

The branch executives also praised the leadership's unity, affirming that both the chairman and secretary had demonstrated this trait. They believed the two current leaders deserved another chance to serve their constituency.

During an event, Chairman Mausili Siaka reiterated his promise to enhance the NDC's vote share in the constituency during the 2024 elections. He also highlighted the progress his administration had made towards setting up party offices in the various zones, with 90% of the work already accomplished. Siaka reaffirmed his dedication to serving the NDC and bolstering the party's structures in the constituency.

Joseph Apraku, who is seeking another term as Constituency Secretary, expressed his agreement with the leadership's vision. He noted the party's success in increasing its vote count in the 2024 general elections compared to previous years. Apraku urged the delegates to grant the current leadership another opportunity to continue executing their vision for the party.
