Aminuddin seru rakyat N Sembilan pertahan institusi raja

Former Negeri Sembilan Chief Minister Aminuddin Harun has urged the state's residents to unite and protect the institution of the ruler amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Tuanku Muhriz's position. In a Facebook post, Aminuddin called on the people of Negeri Sembilan to pray for the well-being of Tuanku Muhriz, who he stated remains the Yang di-Pertuan Besar. He further urged the public to reject any leader accused of betraying the state and violating the constitution.

The statement was made as the political turmoil over Tuanku Muhriz's position continues to unfold after the recent proclamation of the abdication of the monarch was declared valid and Tuanku Nadzaruddin Tuanku Ja’afar was recognized as the new Yang di-Pertuan Besar. According to the exco's statement, the decision was made during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Ismail Lasim yesterday.

However, the Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Committee (DKU) previously affirmed that Tuanku Muhriz will continue to serve as the Yang di-Pertuan Besar, claiming there was no valid process leading to the monarch stepping down from his role.
