Uttar Pradesh: Yogi Cabinet Approves 3 New Bus Stations In Siddharthnagar And Hardoi

The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved the establishment of three new bus stations across the state. This decision was made during a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The proposed locations for the bus stations are in Shohratgarh town and Badhni town of Siddharthnagar Assembly constituency in Siddharthnagar district, as well as in Tehsil Sawayajpur of Hardoi district.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Transport Dayashankar Singh announced the approval, stating that the construction of these bus stations will be facilitated by the free transfer and mutation of Revenue Department land in the mentioned locations to the Transport Department. By utilizing this land, the Transport Department will be able to construct the bus stations as per the proposal.

The minister further elaborated on the benefits of this infrastructure development. Improved transport facilities, he said, will contribute to social development, enhance living standards, and boost tourism. Additionally, these new bus stations will lead to an improvement in the road network and alleviate traffic-related issues in the areas surrounding the towns.

The project is expected to have a significant impact on the local economy.
