Despite this, both the Bono East Regional Police Command and National Security operatives have expressed complete ignorance regarding the arrest, leaving the family in a state of despair. Antwi Francis, Salomey's brother, recounted the harrowing events of that fateful night, describing how two men and a woman in black uniforms forcefully entered their home, claiming to be National Security agents, and whisked her away to the regional command.
