Press accreditation open for the Under-17 World Cup in Qatar

Press accreditation for the Qatar 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup is now open for journalists and media professionals. The competition takes place between November 19 and December 13. Applications must be submitted through the Hayya Media Portal (HMP) by November 10, 2026. Essential documents include a passport, proof of professional press work, and credentials.

Brazilian journalists must provide a passport valid for at least three months and a recent photo. Requests must be accurate, including full name, date of birth, passport validity, organization name, and country of origin. Categories include MEDIA – Press for newspapers, magazines, or editorial websites, Non-Rights-Holding Media – NRH for photographers, television and radio professionals without broadcast rights, rights-holders’ representatives, and host broadcaster professionals.

Each media outlet may accredit up to two photographers. Freelance professionals may also apply on a case-by-case basis. The review process may take up to seven business days. Approved professionals will receive further instructions and, when applicable, permission for entry, filming, and customs clearance.
