Paryushan Mahaparva Celebrated In Mumbai As Harsh Sanghavi Launches ‘Power Of One’ Initiative At SVP Stadium

Mumbai observed the Shvetambar Paryushan Mahaparva at the SVP Stadium in Worli from September 8 to 15, with the festival concluding on the final day, Samvatsari, dedicated to universal forgiveness through the greeting Micchami Dukkadam. The Digambar Das Lakshan Parva will occur from September 16 to 25. The Worli event also marked the launch of the 'Power of One' initiative by Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, coinciding with Gurudevshri Rakeshji's 60th birthday celebrations.

This initiative, launched in 2019, has distributed over 5 million items globally, encouraging purposeful giving and community service. Harsh Sanghavi lauded the Mission's impact on the youth, praising Dharampur's transformation into a hub for humanitarian dharma. The festival featured morning Snatra Pujas, evening chants, youth programs, theatrical performances, and a large-scale indoor sound-bath meditation session.
