Despite facing a 50% stadium capacity restriction due to previous violations of FIFA's disciplinary code, Argentina is set to host friendlies against Bolivia on September 30th in Cordoba and Burkina Faso on October 3rd, ensuring the punishment for their earlier infractions is served before the Benin game.

Midfielders Leandro Paredes and Nahuel Molina, both suspended for their involvement in on-field incidents during Argentina's World Cup final defeat to Spain, are among the players not expected to feature in the Benin match.
