Former NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho recently expressed his disgust with Deshaun Watson's performance in the Cleveland Browns' Week 1 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Watson, who took over as the starting quarterback after Shedeur Sanders, struggled in his return to the regular-season lineup, resulting in a 34-10 defeat for the Browns.

Acho criticized Watson's deep drops from the shotgun formation, an interception on the opening play, and the team's near-turnover on the subsequent drive. He questioned whether Cleveland's offense had trained together before the game and accused the team of not putting in sufficient preparation, given the low level of play Watson displayed.

The analyst went on to express frustration with Browns fans who have to witness such a poor performance from their $230 million quarterback. "You can't put Browns fans through that," Acho said, arguing that rookie quarterbacks making their first starts can appear more composed than Watson did during the game. His assessment of Watson's play ranked him 27th among qualifying quarterbacks in PFN's QB Impact Rating.
