Zahid must face up to the reality within his party

Similarly, state leaders like Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail and Saarani Mohamad have advocated for cooperation between the PH-BN coalition, promoting stability. While Umno's deputy president Mohamad Hasan challenged the Terengganu state legislature to dissolve, this reflects internal party divisions. The alignment of Umno's leadership with Zahid's approach to attacking the government is questionable, raising questions about whether this is driven by frustration over Anwar's refusal to intervene in his court case.

The Umno general assembly's decision to remain in the federal government highlights the party's current stance, despite Zahid's vocal opposition. Before challenging Anwar, Zahid should strengthen his position within his own party. The party's internal dynamics suggest resistance from political allies, and instead of questioning Anwar, Zahid should ensure his political support is solid to avoid being ousted by his own "classmates."
