Registration open for Apple Harvest Day 5K race in Dover

The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce has announced that registration is now open for the 2026 Apple Harvest Day 5k race set to take place on Saturday, October 3rd, at 8:30 a.m. The event will begin and conclude on St. Thomas Street, right in front of the Dover District Courthouse. The course has been certified by USATF, making it suitable for seasoned runners, novices, and families alike.

Winners will receive cash prizes. Adult participants aged 21 and over will need to pay $30, while those under 21 will have to pay $20. Registration can be completed online at dovernh.org/appleharvestday5k, with processing fees applied to digital transactions. To avoid these fees, individuals can visit the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce at 550 Central Ave. and pay with cash or check.

This year’s race is sponsored by Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. Darin Roark, RN, President and Chief Operating Officer of the hospital, emphasized the importance of physical activity for overall health and wellbeing, stating that the hospital is proud to support this annual event that fosters community spirit alongside cardiovascular health.
