Marcelo Brozovic, a free agent after leaving Al-Nassr, has decided to remain abroad, but not in Saudi Arabia. Instead, he has agreed to a deal with Al-Sadd, according to Tuttomercatoweb. The midfielder will play alongside former Lazio star Alessio Romagnoli in Qatari club. Brozovic was reportedly linked with Juventus, Lazio, and Fiorentina due to the injuries at Juventus.

However, joining the Bianconeri would have required cutting players from their list. Brozovic signed a lucrative one-year contract with an option, earning €10 million. In his career with Al-Nassr, he scored 8 goals and provided 23 assists in 124 matches. Brozovic spent a decade at Inter, contributing to one Scudetto and two Coppa Italia wins.

While Italian clubs showed interest, the high salary likely deterred them. The situation in Italian football is dire, with injuries affecting key players like Manuel Locatelli and Khephren Thuram. Juventus may struggle without Brozovic, who could have been a valuable asset in midfield.
