Prince Harry's children moving school after two days over security concerns

LONDON, September 14 - Prince Harry and his wife Meghan's young children are set to change schools after only two days due to security concerns over transporting them, their spokesperson confirmed on Monday. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who relocated to Britain from California six years ago, introduced Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, to their new school in September.

However, the distance between their residence and the original school, coupled with heavy traffic, prompted the security team to raise alarms about their children's safety. After a discussion with security personnel about the practicalities of their current setup, the couple decided to switch schools for their children. The spokesperson emphasized that this decision is not a critique of the school or the exceptional care their family has received thus far.

Harry and Meghan, who recently returned to the U.S. following their step down from royal duties in 2020, remain non-working royals and will continue to reside at their private home. The late Queen Elizabeth's agreement allowed Harry and Meghan to live as private citizens, a status confirmed by a letter from Charles last week. They have been lobbying for government support, including police protection, which they lost when stepping down from royal duties.
