Reports claiming that Negeri Sembilan's Chief Minister Ismail Lasim plans to reshuffle his cabinet today are false, according to his Deputy Spokesperson Mohd Fasha Musthafa. Fasha refuted claims of a scheduled meeting between Ismail and Umno President Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on the same day, stating that such a meeting is not listed in the ministry's calendar.

As of now, there are no developments regarding the alleged reshuffle, which was also dismissed as mere rumor. The false rumors have been circulating today, including the claim that Ismail would meet Zahid prior to deciding on his position as Chief Minister. In September, Zahid denied receiving a dismissal letter from Ismail, with the Deputy Prime Minister stating he did not receive any such letter from the Juasseh Adun.

Meanwhile, there were rumors that Ismail submitted a cancellation letter related to a proclamation to lower Tuanku Muhriz as the Yang Di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan. However, Ismail denied receiving the proclamation document and filed a police report on September 8 to allow authorities to investigate. The chief minister and his state government administration continued to show full loyalty to Tuanku Muhriz.

Ismail took his oath as Chief Minister on August 2 after Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) won 25 out of 26 seats in the PRN Negeri Sembilan election.
