JUST IN: Woman escapes alleged abduction as Kempton Park murder fears grow

A woman reportedly escaped from an alleged kidnapping that occurred in Mosquito Park, Kempton Park, as recent months have seen a surge of fear in the area following the discovery of several women's bodies. The Citizen has reported that the woman, who reportedly works near the park in a hotel, was abducted before managing to escape.

She arrived at the Tembisa Police Station on Monday following the incident. However, the specifics of the alleged crime remain murky, including whether Mosquito Park was indeed the location of the crime. The latest case follows the deaths of five women whose bodies were found in and around Kempton Park and Olifantsfontein, with investigators probing whether these deaths might be connected.

Local councillor Simon Lapping stated that the woman is currently at the Kempton Park Police Station, where she is providing a statement after her escape from the alleged kidnapping that took place on Sunday night.
