Athletes plead for help as "Worst ever" Asian Games face bed shortage

However, the most contentious moment of the day occurred when the victorious Indian team refused to accept their trophy from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi. The incident involved Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur and her squad walking out of the ground in protest of Naqvi's presence on stage during the award ceremony.

Mohsin Naqvi serves as both PCB chairman and president of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). His dual role led to the awkward situation as the Indian team ended their Asian Cup run by winning the tournament, potentially setting up a rematch with Naqvi in the upcoming Asian Games.
