In a Russian border city, a woman named Angelina recounted her harrowing experience at the hands of masked soldiers. Two days prior, she had rejected advances from a uniformed man who approached her in a parking lot. The serviceman allegedly searched her phone and demanded she confess to potential ties with Ukraine. Angelina recounted the events to Vot Tak.

She believes the two incidents are connected, though this has not been independently verified. On September 8, Angelina stopped at a store parking lot on her way home. A man in a military uniform called her over, asking to go for a drive. When she declined, the man began interrogating her about her tattoos, accusing some of them of containing "Nazi symbols."

She ended the conversation and entered a store. Later, she saw the man again shouting "Glory to Ukraine," followed by an anti-Ukrainian slur. As she left the parking lot, she noticed the man's car following her. Two days later, Angelina went to a gym. As she exited her car, two masked men in military uniforms abducted her. They took her to a black Nissan driven by another man in a military uniform and a civilian in the front seat.

The men claimed they received a tip about Angelina being associated with the Freedom of Russia Legion, a group fighting on Ukraine's side. They interrogated her about her phone accounts, tattoos, and personal life, including her relatives and boyfriend. The men ordered her to cover her head and threatened to "pin prostitution" on her.

Eventually, they dropped her off near her home, claiming she had no legal connection to the apartment she claimed to reside in. Angelina expressed paranoia but did not report the incident to the police.
