Suspected Lakurawa terrorists flee as troops storm workshop in Sokoto

Suspected members of the Lakurawa terrorist group allegedly fled after being confronted by troops who raided a motorcycle repair workshop in Kware town, Sokoto State, according to a report on X by security analyst Zagazola Makama. The operation took place at approximately 10:05 a.m. on September 11, following intelligence that the group was using the workshop to repair motorcycles believed to be utilized in their operations.

Upon noticing the approaching troops, the suspects reportedly abandoned the scene, leaving behind two motorcycles at the workshop. The troops recovered the vehicles and are currently investigating them. Efforts are ongoing to locate and arrest the fleeing suspects, while security personnel have maintained surveillance and offensive operations in the area.
