My Dubai Rent: Family pays Dh150,000 for four-bedroom villa in Town Square

Ryan Baird, a father of two young children, recently moved from The Springs to a four-bedroom villa in Town Square, Dubai, due to a significant rise in rent and the need for more space for his family. The Bairds now reside in Hayat Villas, which features four bedrooms, a maid's room, a private garden, and two parking spaces. The villa is situated in a rapidly developing area, with numerous amenities including padel courts, playgrounds, tennis courts, and multiple pools within the community.

Although there are some traffic and road challenges, recent expansions have improved commuting times, particularly to Barsha Heights.

Originally residing in The Springs, Ryan and his family chose their new home in Town Square due to its superior amenities and affordability compared to their previous residence. The area boasts excellent facilities such as nurseries, schools, supermarkets, restaurants, cycling lanes, and community-based activities. Ryan particularly appreciates the gym, pool, and padel courts, which provide ample recreational opportunities for his family.

While he would prefer his office to be located in the backyard, Ryan is content with the overall value and location, as the beach is not too far away.

Ryan emphasizes the importance of creating a safe and welcoming environment for his children. He and his wife have designated spaces for their kids to play and have set up a playroom filled with new toys, ensuring a comfortable and organized living space. The family is considering purchasing property in Dubai, specifically within the area they currently reside in, with the hope that this aspiration will become a reality soon.
