Divisional Commissioner Reviewes Simhastha Work In Indore

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Divisional Commissioner Bhaskar Lakshakar conducted a review of Simhastha works in the city, emphasizing the importance of coordination among departments to prevent dismantlement of completed projects for future departmental work, thus ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes. On Saturday, Lakshakar convened a joint coordination meeting at the collector's office, bringing together 15 departments engaged in Simhastha-related development projects.

Lakshakar stressed the need for effective coordination between department heads and their technical officers, and issued a directive to Municipal Commissioner Kshitij Singhal to organize monthly joint coordination meetings with departments operating within the municipal area. He instructed that all Simhastha-related tasks should be completed on a priority basis within the set timeframe.

Lakshakar directed departments to coordinate carefully, ensuring that other development projects are not adversely affected by Simhastha-related works, and to resolve construction obstacles immediately.

Construction agencies must provide alternative routes, emphasized Lakshakar, as departments involved in construction, particularly road construction, must identify and construct alternative routes before initiating their work to prevent inconvenience to citizens and motorists. He emphasized the importance of mutual coordination among departments, with alternative routes to be identified and maintained until the completion of the main development project.
