Israeli forces' gunfire resulted in the death of a pregnant Palestinian woman, Iman Shalouf, and her unborn child on Saturday in the southern Gaza Strip. The incident occurred as she sat inside a family tent in Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis. She was struck in the head, according to Drop Site.

Upon arrival at Nasser Hospital, medical staff detected the heartbeat of the unborn baby, leading to initial hope that he might survive. Sadly, both Iman and her baby did not survive the attack. Iman was seven months pregnant and had about two months and a week left before the expected delivery of the child named Ayoub, as her husband Sulaiman Abu Mashi told Drop Site.
