2 operatives of Doni Bal gang killed in gunfight with Ludhiana police

Two members of Doni Bal’s gang were killed by Ludhiana Police in a shootout on Sunday in Atam Park area, after an operation conducted with Punjab Police’s Anti-Gangster Task Force. Doni Bal, a fugitive gangster hiding abroad, allegedly orchestrated a mass shooting at a blood donation camp in Ludhiana. The two deceased, Karanjot Singh (Nona) and Sandeep Singh, were from Sultanwind, Amritsar.

Police recovered 24 rounds fired during the gunfight and around 50 live cartridges. Both were found to be in contact with Doni Bal and Shaganpreet, while Nona had two prior criminal cases under the Arms Act and robbery, and Sandeep faced one case.
