How to recruit domestic worker in Qatar through Moawen platform

Qatar's Ministry of Labour has unveiled a new online platform, Moawen, to simplify the process of hiring domestic workers. This digital system enables individuals to navigate the recruitment procedures, interact with licensed agencies, and monitor applications through a user-friendly interface. Below are the eleven steps to secure a domestic worker via the Moawen platform:

1. Obtain the necessary approval for the recruitment visa through Metrash. This may not be required if the approval has already been secured.

2. Log into the Moawen Platform within 24 hours of applying for Metrash approval. The approval status should be visible on the platform.

3. Click on 'Start your recruitment journey' to begin the process.

4. Provide the required information and outline your recruitment needs on the platform.

5. Review the offers submitted by licensed recruitment agencies.

6. Arrange an interview with the chosen domestic worker.

7. Finalize the recruitment arrangements, agreeing on the costs with the recruitment agency.

8. Review and sign the contract.

9. Pay the recruitment fees electronically.

10. Log in to Metrash, where the visa will be issued, and schedule an appointment at the Qatar Visa Center. Enter the appointment details on the Moawen platform.

11. Once the worker's residence permit is granted through Metrash, the QID details will automatically appear on the Moawen platform. The worker can then complete the necessary arrangements to enter Qatar.
