UAE President meets former Chancellor Angela Merkel during state visit to Germany

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel during his state visit to Germany. The meeting highlighted the significance of their past collaboration in strengthening ties between the two nations, fostering economic growth and cooperation. Sheikh Mohamed expressed his admiration for Merkel's contributions, wishing her continued well-being and joy.

Merkel reciprocated the gesture, extending her best wishes for the UAE's ongoing prosperity and the further development of bilateral relations. The occasion was attended by Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology. Following the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed also visited students studying in Germany and attended a forum in Munich where 30 new agreements between the UAE and Germany were signed.
