QC's relief efforts span over 10mn people in 44 countries

Qatar Charity (QC) implemented a range of humanitarian and development projects across 44 countries, reaching over 10 million people through initiatives worth approximately QR809 million from January to July 2026. Donor support enabled services for more than 5.8 million people in 31 countries, with a focus on major crises in Gaza, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, and Syria, as well as overlooked issues like the Rohingya refugee crisis.

The organization launched an Information and crisis management center to improve early-warning systems and decision-making.

QC also launched 11,114 sustainable development projects in those 44 countries, costing about QR573 million and benefiting over 4.2 million people. These projects focused on water and sanitation, health, education, economic empowerment, food security, and social welfare, with priority given to quick-impact projects with lasting effects.

Social welfare initiatives supported over 225,000 beneficiaries, including orphans, vulnerable families, students, and persons with disabilities through the Rofaqa program. This program offers comprehensive support for livelihoods, education, and personal growth, with the Furqan program providing Qur'an and Arabic language education for sponsored children in non-Arabic-speaking countries.
