Illegal bird hunting devices seized

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has confiscated several bird-calling devices within the Al Reem Nature Reserve. These devices were seized during a field inspection conducted by the ministry's teams, as part of their ongoing efforts to safeguard wildlife and natural reserves. The inspection was carried out in the Brouq unit area of the reserve, where the ministry is actively monitoring and inspecting natural and wilderness zones to detect any activities that could negatively impact birds, wildlife, and their habitats.

As a result of the inspection, the relevant team took appropriate action against the detected violations. The ministry has also issued a warning to visitors of wilderness areas and nature reserves, urging them to adhere to environmental laws and regulations and refrain from using methods or engaging in practices that may harm wildlife or disturb the ecological balance.
