America’s Response Monument in New York, New York
This is a statue memorializing the U.S. Army’s Green Berets and other Special Forces soldiers who gallantly brought the fight to the Taliban in Afghanistan in the early days after September 11th. During their action they spent time riding into combat on horseback along side their Afghan allies.
