Ambani calls upon India Inc to collectively launch ecosystem that supports working women

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani called upon Indian businesses to collaborate in creating an ecosystem that empowers working women and mothers, highlighting their crucial role as leaders in various fields globally. At the launch of Arundhati Bhattacharya's memoir "Indomitable: A Working Woman's Notes on Work, Life and Leadership," Ambani emphasized that when women become unstoppable, India itself becomes unstoppable.

Bhattacharya, Salesforce South Asia President and CEO, serves as an inspiration for working mothers worldwide and a guiding figure for the proposed initiative. Reliance Foundation, along with other organizations, will actively participate in this endeavor. Ambani stressed that women are no longer just beneficiaries of progress but architects, excelling in business, science, sport, and the armed forces.

He recounted Bhattacharya's achievements against all odds and praised her as a strategic thinker and problem solver. The Reliance CEO expressed his belief in the adage "Sashakt stree, sashakt Bharat" (empowered women, empowered India) and drew parallels between Bhattacharya's life and his own success, attributing both to strong family values and support.

Ambani concluded by emphasizing the importance of emotional quotient over intellectual quotient in leadership, advocating for more women in leadership positions.
