4 arrested after masked suspects found with loaded guns in North York parking lot, police say

Toronto police have arrested four individuals following a "person with a gun" call in a North York parking lot, according to police reports. The incident occurred on Sunday, September 6, when officers responded to the Dufferin Street and Steeles Avenue West area. Upon arrival, they found all four suspects inside a vehicle, three of whom were wearing masks.

Two suspects were apprehended inside the vehicle, while the other two fled on foot but were later captured by responding officers. Two loaded prohibited firearms were seized during the operation. The four arrested individuals, Aisosa Osadebamwen, 17, Nana Asamoh, 20, Tafary Church, 24, and another individual, all from Toronto, are facing a variety of firearm-related charges.

A special mention is made that the 17-year-old was processed under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA) and thus not named. All four are set to appear in court on Monday, September 7.
